P'rhaps I place too much sentimental significance on stuff, like songs

Anyway, I was listening to "Someday" by The Strokes, and it reminded me of going to the beach back home, so here's what else makes me nostalgic:
[ul]
[]"Don't Look Back in Anger" - Oasis - that first week after school has ended and the whole summer lies before you like a map that fills you with joy and regrets all at once
[]"40 Days" - Slowdive - thinking while watching the sun set alone on the beach
[]"White Man in Hammersmith Palais" - The Clash - waking up early in the wintertime when it's still dark out and walking outside
[]"Man on the Moon" - REM - Doing homework by the window in the springtime
[/ul]

whatcha got?

I have a few that I got just off the top of my head but:

-“Panic! at the disco songs” reading fanfiction super late at night by cell phone light.
-“Hide and Seek” being in Atlanta before I flew out to Okinawa
-“Tidal Wave” and “Bird and the Worm” by Owl city ~ being in the west pac (temporary lodging in Okinawa) !
-“Lookin Boy” my ex boyfriend!
-“Lollipop” by lil Wayne ~ being in my room just watching the video on Fuse.

There are more so when I hear it I’ll post it.

Songs I liked at certain times remind me of those times. For example, Britney Spears, the Spice Girls, and any song I recognize from the 1970s and 1980s remind me of when I was a kid. I could give you a bunch of examples if I was bothered, but that would involve a long and tiresome trek through my song library.

And CPA, there’s no such thing as too much sentiment.
