<p>Those must be weighted gpas/ UW only looks at unweighted so if that's around a 3.5-3.6 they are in the average pile overall. But I'd bet they get in later. Those are good numbers. They just need good grades senior year.</p>
<p>Nope, unweighted. Like one of the counselor's told him initially, "They'll defer everyone at first, then they'll decide who they want to take." I think it's just the size of the school and the number of students who apply to Madison that creates the way they handle it, but seeing others saying they got in, knowing my son and others have to wait, just stinks.</p>
