Hey guys,

Now that most people have received their decisions for the Spring already... just curious who has decided to come??

Where have you guys chosen to live??

I'm attending and I'm living in Sheldon Court right in C'town.

you didnt want to live in the transfer dorm?

No, the transfer building is on north and surrounded by mostly freshmen...For me it was between west and collegetown because those places are the hubs of the upperclassmen community. Plus I know my roommate and I would have had to get a single if I lived on west.

I've also heard from past transfers and some of my friends that go to CU that the transfer dorm is kind of sh**ty.

they tore down the transfer dorm, the place where transfers currently live (on north) is really sweet - they're as big as apartments with an upstairs and a downstairs w/ living room, kitchen, etc.

I know someone who lives in Hasbrooke (sp?)...he hates it.

Never mind on the Sheldon...my app got messed up and I'm in Bethe House on West.

^^How do you check where you where placed...does housing email you or something?

You should have already signed up and named your preferences on campuslife.cornell.edu with the log-in info from the yellow sheet (that came with case for cornell). If you didn't get it then I suggest that you call admissions asap although it might be too late to be guaranteed a room.

Yikes, I still haven't heard from Cornell!

yea i got the yellow paper but when i completed the app for housing all it said was something like ...we will let you know where you will be placed...i did it Saturday if that means anything...

"I know someone who lives in Hasbrooke (sp?)...he hates it."

then he's a whiner...

I applied Language House first and then Hasbrooke, you think that was a mistake?

I feel as if I almost need an apartment, but I didnt want to be so far away from classes.

live on campus at first, you'll make many friends this way.
