Sooo, what are my chances?

<p>Can you guys tell me if I have a chance? I just sent in my App. The things that are worrying me are GPA and ACT.</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>The GPA on my transcript is weighted: 3.78
ACT: 25</p>

<p>I have a bunch of extracurriculras, which include 300+ documented volunteer hours, I am president of reading club in school, I am a co-founder of a youth peace group, Secretary of ethnic organization etc.</p>

<p>I am Asian, namely Central Asian.</p>

<p>I have received a city award for volunteerism
I have received international recognition and an award for my poetry</p>

<p>I have worked all throughout my hs career, but I my family is financially stable.</p>

<p>Comment with opinions; I want to hear them.

<p>Assuming your UW GPA is fine, you don’t need to worry about that, and your ECs are great. Your ACT will be what kills you. It’s at about the 25th percentile. I think it might’ve been wiser to wait to send in the app so you could take the December ACT. An improvement of a point or two would’ve drastically raised your chances. As it is, you have maybe a 50% chance. I hope you wrote a good essay and played up your awesome ECs, 'cause your stats are a bit low.</p>

<p>Thanks for the advice, that was my fifth ACT score, I’m done with it man. All that practicing got me one point up from my first one.</p>
