sound it out

junior year: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. 4 AP's, a crazy SAT tutor with tons of worksheets, and thinking about trying to get straight A's in all this mess
can i be done with school yet?

9th grade - Let lame be x as x as approaches infinity. No limit to x.

Yeah, 9th grade was pretty crappy. I can count the excitement points on one hand.

I'm a junior.... At my school, we have a lot of smart and hard-working students, but very few people take more than 2-3 APs in one year - I'm doing 2 APs and 2 honors. We only have like 10 APs actually. But just one can mean 2-3 daily hours of homework regularly if you get one of the tougher teachers.

I go to a school where almost all the 11th and 12th graders are in IB Diploma (and the ones who aren't are doing IB Certificate)... so all juniors and seniors take 6 IB courses, Theory of Knowledge, and an elective. I guess people on average may be more motivated, although there are several exceptions, but it honestly doesn't make senior year any more enjoyable, nor does it make them any more fun to be around.

Senior year stinks, more or less, but it is no more worse than other parts of HS. The only difference from last year is the number of APs (3 junior v 10 senior).

junior year is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad
so so sooooooooo bad
im failing AP physics and AP bio
not literally but you know what i mean
im so stressed out and i havent even reviewed for the PSAT so im prbly not goign to get national merit...i have a lab due tommorow and i dont know how to do it ..i failed a test i thought i did good on..and i am really, reallly tired...
3 science APs are taking their toll...

Uhh, 9th grade was much harder than 10th grade (so far, only 1 month in). I transferred to a better high school also, so its funny. Traveling just sucks. My old hs was funny. Everyone was dumb, but the teachers expected a lot of you. In my current school, the classes are a little easier (im in honors everything except art and french), and everyone in my classes are smart or decently intelligent.

im actually having a pretty good senior year (considering im taking AP Bio and Chem) i just wanna finsih my college stuff and enjoy my senior year.

^ ap chem. that class was awesome. hard (for me, at least), but awesome. and it's so dang useful.

i mean, it's all right. i'm a senior, so i'm knee-deep in college applications. i'm just working on the essays for an honors college (that i abhor) that my parents are making me apply to (because it's 30 minutes away from our house).

but i applied ED to my first choice in september. let's hope i get an awesome early christmas present! ;)

aaaaaand, scholarship applications. whoop-de-doo.

i did start voice lessons this year, and it's so nice to have something non-school that i enjoy.

I have a ton of make-up work to do from missing certain important days, especially for Chemistry.

Then I had to get a schedule change (I'm a sophomore btw) because I was put into a class I did not want. So instead of TV Productions, I'm taking Law Studies (1st sem.) and then AP American Govt (2nd sem.). So now I have two AP's for my sophomore year: APUSH and AP Govt.

I'm being overloaded with homework, especially from APUSH, a class that I have to type about 15 pages per week: 10 pages in outlines, 2 pages in Document Analyses, a page on focus questions, and two pages on Vocab.

That takes up my whole weekend along with Algebra 2 Honors online (through FLVS). And during the week I'm working on Chem., Precalc, English, and Law Studies. And I have bad grades in all of them, except English and Law Studies.

This year sucks. :)

senior year started two weeks ago. It was a bumpy start but now it's going well. (But I still can't wait til it's over)

Junior year is hard. I get out of school at 3, have volleyball till 6, get home @ 6:30 and do hw non stop till 10-11. Its the year with the most drama too which sucks. (I'm taking APUSH and APLang and APFrench, which are the only APs my school offers to juniors) (we have 6 classes a day)
Its also the most "social" year. I'm ususally out every weekend so hw is tough.
BUt for some reason our school loves to have 3-day weekends(we've had about 4 so far) so no school monday!

senior year. we're a month in, and im finding it really, really boring. i have 5 lecture style classes (all AP) so all the days are very long. i can't wait till it's over as well.
8 months left....

Is high school that bad? Why does everyone want it to be over so quickly?

I love school right now. I am getting all As for first quarter, and once second semester rolls around I get all of my easy classes. I've never been happier :)....
except for those damn SATs and application essays. ugh. But once I finish those it will be all G.

High School is really boring and at my school most of the kids are immature and that's annoying also. AP classes are horrible too. All you do is work...I don't even learn anything from them. Really, the stupidest, but HARDEST-WORKING person in the world could get an "A" in an AP class. You could fail all the quizzes and tests, but as long as you do the work, you'll get an "A".

I'm ready to move on to college.

Senior year.

So easy. It's insane. IB shouldn't be this easy, haha.

I'm playing bass in 6 bands now, hahaha that's insane. I'm ready for lacrosse season... Definitely ready to use some phsyical force!

But more than anything I'm ready to go on to college... I really wanted to try and have a mature relationship before I left here, and I had one going but her dad made her end it. That was fantastic...

Oh well, college is near, and I can't wait.

well everybody has a different high school experience. turns out some of us, including me, haven't had a very good one.

junior year is gonna be the death of me and i dont even have any ap courses. i dont know how people deal who have like, 4 ap classes. chemistry is a killer. i actually like learning...but that is the one thing i dont enjoy.
