does anyone remember that thing where it was like

Jane likes ____ but not ______
or something like
Jane likes spaghetti but not noodles

and you were supposed to understand what the rule was??
Anyone know how that worked? I never did...

It has to have a similar base?
1.) I like life, but not living.
2.) I like orange juice, but not oranges.

On a side note, how can you like spaghetti but not noodles?
That's a bit contradictory. But then again, all of these are contradictory.

The one I remember is that the the person is supposed to only like words with double letters (and her name was Fannee Dollee, so that fit). But spaghetti and noodles both have double letters, so I don't know.

Yeah I heard shravas' version too when I was in high school. Drove me mad trying to figure out what the trick was..

yeah... thanks! i didn't know an exact example so i just made one up. Its probably what shravas said.

yeah, the thing she likes has to has double letters...
