'Sooooo confused about housing

Okay ive visited ucsb a few times but for some reason i cant wrap my mind arond housing. Can some of you more educated folk fill me in?

I had in mind a set up where I would be in a room with someone and there would be other similar setups all around a common area

Bathroom situation is very important - a bathroom branching off the common area that everyone shares - is this suite style? not sure.

I'm a computer science major if that matters to housing.

I really liked manzanita - but idno fi thats just grad students?

It would be sweet if there was a beach view from the apartments (some or most idno).

Any idea what would be good for me? THANKS A LOT smart people.

Manzanita is generally for upper division students but some freshman are allowed to live there. I think there is about 200 open spots? (someone correct me if I'm wrong) so it may be hard to get into that hall, but it is worth a shot. Bathroom situation IS important, so if it were up to me, I would choose FT for you. :-)

It says on the site that there are "two rooms connected by one bathroom" So theres a bathroom for every 4 peoples but no common area between them?

Yup, each room has two doors, one door to leave the room and go to the hall and the other to go to the restroom. The bathroom connects both rooms, so you'll have a roomate and two bathroom mates lol
