From what I heard, over 1100 students applied to the program and around 150 or so got an interview. Out of those, 90 will be picked so that means you guys have a really good shot! The hard part is getting the interview. If you made it this far, you are definitely qualified to be in the school, the rest is just them making the class. Each year they pick certain personalities or people with specific traits/achievements to make it balanced. Although if you are hispanic and/or african american, you have a much higher chance of being accepted. Good luck everyone!!!
@DeniseO do you know if they tell mean you will receive the acceptance letter via mail wed-fri or they send it out those days because I dont think they email you your decision but I’m not sure
@CptMango they normally interview 200 and an admissions counselor told me now that they accept oos they interviewed more, someone said 280 which is probably correct but either way whoever got an interview is definitely qualified
Called them today. The person who picked up the phone said that they’re going to notify everyone of the decision on April 1. The problem is that April 1 is a Saturday, which means they’ll be closed. These people who take calls at admission offices never really have any idea what’s going on, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in her words.
Interviewees are notified March 28th, which is tomorrow. Also since they have become an accredited medical school, no one is held to the bargain of becoming a primary care doctor. You could become anything you want, without having to pay the 75,000 fee, however since it’s a medical school you have to pay medical school fees for all four years vs only two years, which sucks. I was an interviewee, but that’s what two people told me. they said I’m lucky because I had a lesser wait vs those that had their interviews from february-the beginning of march.
the faculty member and the admissions officer who interviewed me told me March 28th the earliest.

Decision notifications are coming out on a rolling basis, so anytime between today and Saturday.
@CptMango I’m pretty sure they interviewed more than 280 students this year because they usually interview 250.
