Sophie Davis Pgm.

SEVEN MORE DAYS TILL SOPHIE DECISIONS!!!

(i heard theyre still interviewing people. im in the bridge to medicine program and 3 people have interviews tmorrow with sophie. my interviewer also told me that sophie makes decisions every friday, so our fate has already been pretty much decided.)

I’m right there with you!!! I’m so nervous too!! If I don’t get in I will kill myself. I spend most of my time at [FPA Network Forums - The Front Page](http://www.fpaclub.com) …some new site…trying to help them become popular I guess.

Hey I am currently a junior at stuyvesant high school and i really wanna go to sophie davis. I have an 87 average and have not taken the sats or act yet. im taking it in may. I took the bio sat ii and got a 730. do i have any shot at getting into SD?

Stuyvesant School ? So, your GPA is pretty low. you need to try to make it around 93 unweighted because they dont look at the weighted GPA…i suggest you take a bunch of ap courses in senior year so your grade gets balanced…also, LOTS of community service and HIGH HIGH HIGH marks on the SAT and ACT…the recent y people feel sad when they get rejected from sophie davis is because applying there demands you to have taken a lot of tests and write a bunch of essays…even the interview process lasts for more than three hours…now the question arises…Are u ready 2 give up 7 years of ur life nonstop working like a mule to get an MD degree in primary care??? i am, that’s y i applied…good luk

and to everyoen out there…if u dont get into sophie davis, its not the end of the world…they can’t decide or make ur future…if u accept this as a failure, then u willl never achieve that goal of success…so don’t kill urself and such…

and finally good luk to everyone … there are only 6 more days before the decisions get released !!

Actually, its five more dayss!!! AHH i wish the day would just hurry up

A bit ironic about how a lot of MAJOR events happen on April 1st. (Decisions, SAT scores, ACT scores I think as well, etc.)

Does anyone know when we get our decisions? Is it by mail or email?

To anyone who is a sophie student does the acceptance letter come in a big envelope?

I got my acceptance on April 1st last year. First, through email. The envelope came a few days later.

After the interview how exactly are the students chosen? Is it the student that gets 3 out of 3 good interviews or does it work differently?

@ MetsFan09, do you get an email even if u get rejected?

some kids in my school recieved rejection letters in the mail on friday
so i guess if we havent heard anything yet, it might be good news :)

oh my ! im so nervous like im having nitemares about this stuff…i really hoope i get in !

u kno i tink its a bit mean how colleges make us wait till april 1 even tho they have decisions made in like February and such…gosh !

Two more dayssss!!! Ahhh!!

@tiffiepie1992 i think being on good terms with all 3 interviews help. my last interviewer, dr. lima, told me that they have to present us to an admissions committee and convince them as to why we should be the person chosen to go to sophie. So pretty much our interviewers act as lawyers for us and they fight for us to get in.

hey serendipity10 , maybe its possible that ur friends didnt get an interview and they are received those first round rejection letters? is that possible? Goddd, im soo nervous, only one more day…i wonder what time we’ll get the email…

anxiousbeaver your name should be anxiousbeiber. Good luck to all of us! Tomorrow’s the big day! :open_mouth: !
