<p>Happened to meet a group of ā5th yearā sophie davis kids while I was rounding today. I took them with me and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with their level of pre-clinical knowledge. Not only how much they remembered (they are technically in their 2nd pre-clinical year), but how well they applied it.</p>
<p>So I got a letter from Sophie today pretty much thanking me for submitting an application, and that an interview notice would follow shortly in the next few weeks. Looks like I will be waiting for just a bit longer.</p>
<p>I had my interview done last week too and I recieved a letter thanking for my application yesterday. Most interviews are held I think on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People are informed around a week before their interview.
All Sophie Davis students are great and friendly. They really helped me to ease up before the interview.

<p>So posted above about not getting an interview but checked mail on Tuesday and got a letter from SD about my interview!! WOOT WOOT! To those still waiting, I talked to someone in the office and she told me that interviews are done until mid-March so no worries! Kind of nervous bc essays were kind of weak (imo) so can anyone give any advice, pointers, experiences about the interview?</p>

<p>hey guys i got an interview notification about 2 weeks ago and my interview was supposed to be about a week ago (feb 22) but i called immediately nd said i culdnt come and if i can reschedule it bc i was going away w/ my family. the lady said she would reschedule my interview and not to worry. however, it has been more than a week and i have not been notified of a rescheduling and I emailed her and she never replied back. Anyone went through this? will they get me rescheduled? what should i do?</p>

I was just wondering whether Sophie is a 7 year or 8 year program. The website still says itās 5 years plus 2 but Iāve heard that they changed the curriculum to make it an 8 year. Would anyone mind confirming this (preferably someone in the program)?</p>
<p>Iām not in the program but I know from the Open House that they said they are changing it to 7.5 years</p>
