Sophie Davis Pgm.

@desibeats yes i got an interview notification. i don’t really wan’t to go in depth with the stats, but i have several APs, 2200+ on SAT, high GPA, and volunteer/extracurriculars

hey guys whatsup i applied to sophie. when did you guys submit your applications? im bugging out because i have yet to receive an interview notification. my brother goes to sophie and he did not receive his interview notficaton until like the second week in march. im scared though.

I sent my application on the last possible day…whenever that was

Does anyone know if interviews are given out alphabetically?

I got my interview email on 3/3. My interview was on the 10th and I believe there were more interview days after that. Dw about it yet

And my application was postmarked jan 8th for your info.
Read my post a few pages back for interview help.

thanksss. and it doesnt go by alphabetical order. i think it goes by when you sent in your app. i sent mine in like late decemeber. my bro sent his in like jan and like i said before his was late march.

i don’t think it goes by when you sent your app because @warmmilk said his/her app was sent on the last possible day & already got an interview notification

yea i agree… I don’t think think it goes by when you sent it or alphabetically…i think its just random

i hate waiting! Sophie is definitely one of my top choices, but I didn’t receive a notification about an interview yet =(…the wait is killing me!

same the wait is crazy. its even crazier for me because i have pressure from my family and my family friends since i know so many people that go there hahahah

I dont think it goes by date you handed in your application, I handed mine in literally the last day, and I got my interview scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday ^_^

@katrina did they email you or send a letter? do you mind posting your stats, just like sat and blah nothing too crazy. thanksss :)

does anyone know of people who have already had their interviews? i have mine on wednesday (got email on sat.) and am super nervous. some of the older interview related post seem outdated…tips?question types? anything?!

haha heyy guyss wats up?? im a current first year at sophie actually in dental track where my dds at?? lol if u guys need any tips or anything hmu at nithin.thampi@live.com!

yo @ntham whatsup. im bugging because i have yet to get an interview notice. i have a bro in his 2nd year at sophie now. should i lose hope now

hey collegeparonia im telling u, dont lose hope now. i was one of last ones in my year to get an interview date infact i was actually told to have had my interview on the last day of interviews for Sophie for my year. So dont lose hope b.c i only got interview on march 22. So just be patient. let me know if u need any help or advice :D

thanks so much. i’ll def hit you up and might email u. question what was your sat and act? i think thats the thing that im screwed up with. so much pressure from my family because my brother goes there hahah and apparently they LOVE siblings so i dont know…how are you liking the social life? my brother said its pretty dead. and the towers suck haha

no problem… my sat score was actually 1880 i think 530 on CR, and 690 on Math. And 30 composite score on ACT. But dont worry too much about ur standardized test scores b/c there r people that got in 1700 SAT score range and people with almost 2400s… And social life is not bad except the fact that ull always be with sophies so ur kinda like a family. I live in the towers and i wouldnt say it sux b/c i live on sophie floor and we always chill and do hw or study for tests together.

thanks…that actually helped alot.its crazy because my gpa is like a 3.9 weighted and i have a lot of ECs that are strong and over 200 hours of community service 6 aps blah blah but my sat score is a 1660. thats cools sophie really is a big family its awesoome. how do u find the course load
