Hello, Im just wondering if a few Sophie Davis alumni, can list some positives/ negatives about the school other then costs and skipping MCATs.

Does it offer a good overall education, a college feel, a sense of community, good knowledge for doctors, etc, etc. Any info can be helpful. I think I have a good shot at making the school, I just didnt like the campus when visiting and slowly disliking it, but still applied.

My friend who attends Sophie does not really like the fact that all your classes are attended by the same students for all your time at Sophie. Academically, as you would expect, it is very rigorous.

Interesting but would that make closer friends in a positive way I guess.

An outside source, my cousin, a student at one of the medical schools, said the kids who came from Sophie Davis were in fact ‘kids’. She said they were a bit inexperienced and unprepared.

I’m a sophmore and i’m pretty set on pursuing a career in medical. i’m looking into the sophie davis and its 7 year program. i wanted to know if it’s the best place to be if you want to become a surgeon, because i hear everyone saying doctor doctor doctor

^^^A surgeon is a doctor.

yeah i know, but i read a few threads and some are saying that the school isnt suitable for one who is looking to become a surgeon due to residency limits or something? i’m trying to figure that out
