I'm going to be a sophmore next year and want some advice on what aps i should take. I'm kind of confused =/
What aps did you guys take as sophs?
Thank u!

I took AP European History. It was challenging at first, but well worth it ;)

My daughter also took AP Euro. She was also in the IB Diploma Programme, so taking AP classes as a sophomore fit in well with other requirements.

I took AP Music Theory. I got a 2 on the test and the college board lost my sight singing portion, but it was worth it. It taught me how to study for my junior year APs. I passed both my junior year AP tests.

I took Chem and Calc AB. It wasn't too bad... I like both subjects, so I felt like I spent my time well. Take whatever interests you.

euro & music theory, still waiting on grades ;p

chem and apush
5's on each
but more so, what classes r u taking?

well i know for sure im taking ap euro but i want to take another ap but idk what to so....

i took world.

I took Euro and English Lang, both of which are standard for (pre-)IB kids at my school, as well as Stats, which was an elective.
People at my school also frequently take Environmental Science soph year, and sometimes take Calc or Physics.

I've heard Euro is common. I did Comp Sci, but I didn't take the test.

I think, though, that taking APs sophomore year is best to gain experience in taking AP exams, like what they want you to know, etc.

I took Stats and Music Theory(only recommended if you have a background). Stats ended up being a really good experience, and the material isn't terribly difficult.

World history goes well with Euro because the information overlaps.

im in the same boat....im for sure taking chem and US History but im considering self studying human geo so i can eventually get the National Ap Scholar award by the end of jr year

i took world history and biology

i took chem and euro

Euro and French, with Euro being the common AP for sophomores at my school.

I would say take a history class (I took AP US). It's a good intro to the world of more difficult APs you might take junior and senior years. I also took Spanish language.

I took the only one they offered to Sophs at my school, Euro.

AP Euro my sophomore year.
