thanks for taking the time to read this really long post. :p if you could give me some advice on what to do to improve my chances or just if i have i chance or not i'd really appreciate it! thanks again!

bump i guess....? :)

No one can really say right now, mostly because you haven't even started your junior year yet and you haven't taken any SAT/SATIIs/APs/etc. But, from what I can see so far, you are definitely on the right track for those schools. Make sure you prepare for the SATs when you take them next year, and try to get a 2200+, which judging by your PSAT scores, doesn't seem like it will be too hard. Keep up the grades, and continue those activities. You're on track as of right now :)

thanks for the input.
i'm a tad worried about the grades so it's good that you don't think i'm stretching for those schools.
if anyone else has any advice i'd love to hear it too.
:)

If you do good on your SATs you are definately on track. These colleges are risky though cause they are so competitive, you need so more matches and safeties added to your list

mmm yeah. what kind of schools do you think would me a good match for me as a safety. i'm interested in majoring in some sort of legal studies (not necessarily pre-law though) or music technology or engineering.
