What courses will you guys be taking for the following year of 2014-2015, sophmore year? Also what colleges do you intend to go to, or apply for?

I’m a senior now, but I’m bored, so this is what I took sophomore year.

Physical Education II
Health
Computer Applications I
Spanish I
U.S. History
Biology
Plane Geometry
English II Honors
Chemistry Honors
Algebra II Honors
Trig/Pre-Calculus Honors

Applied to UChicago, Michigan, Ohio State, Case Western, Northeastern, Minnesota, UIUC, Miami, and Drexel.

LOL, same position as halcyon - I’m a senior, but anyways.

Gym
Latin II Honors
AP US History
Algebra II Honors
Foundations of Law Honors
Forensic Science Honors
English 10 Honors
Chemistry I Honors

Applied to - Boston University, Northeastern, UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, UMass Lowell, Champlain, Emmanuel, Simmons, Wellesley, Cornell, Suffolk, Brandeis

wow 11 classes, how long were you at school? Also, did you get any decisions yet? You’re like a big sister to all of us here on CC. :).

I got into Minnesota. Nothing else is out yet.
Health and computer apps were half-credit classes, so in terms of time they’re only one class. I tested out of pre-calculus and gym.

So you can put the classes on your transcript simply by testing out? Where did you apply ED if any? Also, congratulations on Minnesota :).

I’m not a freshman, but my sophomore schedule is:

Chemistry Honors
Spanish 3 Honors
AP Psychology
AP Calculus AB

Civics and Economics Honors
AP Statistics
English 2 Honors
AP Calculus BC

Anything you get high school credit for (through your high school) will be on your transcript (which, for the record, is put together and sent to colleges by your school and not you…I’ve only ever seen my transcript once). I just got credit for those classes without actually sitting in a classroom.
I didn’t apply ED anywhere, but I’ve submitted all my applications and I applied EA to everywhere other than Ohio State, Minnesota, and UIUC.

You can test out of gym? Lucky
I haven’t taken a gym class yet so I’ll probably be the only senior in my PE class in two years…

oh sorry, I forgot to put in “or EA”. When does your decision come out for UChic?

Also a bored senior :p

Sophomore Schedule:
• Chemistry
• Current Social Issues (1/2)
• Health (1/2)
• Economics (1/2)
• Psychology (1/2)
• Trigonometry
• Marching Band (1/2)
• Concert Band (1/2)
• Spanish II
• Pre-AP English
• Web Page Design

Not exactly rigorous by CC standards, but school doesn’t let sophomores take AP classes unless they have an IEP (which is like 3-5 students per grade max…) and the only pre-ap classes available to sophomores are English & Chem.

Some time before the end of December, but I’m basically 100% sure it will be “rejected,” just based on how badly I screwed up the interview.
