study abroad or find an internship? ill have a 3.2 gpa by the time i apply this spring. im an accounting major

From what i’ve read around here it looks like you should forget about both of them and work on getting your GPA to 3.5+.

u never answered my question. what would be best for me to do as a sophmore. find an internship or study abroad. by the time ill apply ill have a 3.2 gpa. note key word by the time ill apply meaning this spring.

And i’m telling you that neither would be a good option.

The best thing you can do is focus on your GPA, then intern/study abroad your Junior year.

If you’re going to be stubborn and not listen to good advice then my answer is intern.

where is an expert at. i want advice from someone working in the field not a freshman at oregon state

internship would be best unless its a really good study abroad program

Solution: study abroad somewhere easy where you can get As and raise your GPA! At my school, it seems most study abroads are easier, some very significantly so, than doing the courses at our university. As an example, HEC Paris (#1 undergrad business in Europe) is considered on par with course difficulty back home by both students I’ve talked to from my university and abroad, whereas the University of Edinburgh is laughably easy. Ask around and do some research on where you should go and what you should take. If you have friends, you could ask them!
