<p>Hi everyone... I was wondering If i could get some feedback about my schedule for the next year. Is this something that will give me an advantage during college admission time... it it too hard for a sophomore... etc. Thanks.</p>

<p>Even the best sophomores at my school only take 1 or 2 AP classes, so you’ll be ahead of us. I do not know anything about the difficulty of IB courses so I can’t really tell you if it’s too difficult. Also, I do not know how smart you are. I know many sophomores that are smarter than most seniors (at my school). The real question is if you’re willing to do all of the work associated with the classes.</p>

<p>What is IB Chemistry 1, what is IB Physics 1 SL ? Have you already taken any chemistry or physics or are those your intro classes? Is Physics 1 SL followed by Physics 2 SL the following year?</p>
<p>In our school SL classes are only for Juniors and Seniors.</p>
<p>well almost everybody takes IB Chemistry in Sophomore year. That and some take IB Math SL 1, but only like 10-15 kids. However, I want to take IB Physics too, which many people don’t take a Sophomore. So, I would be taking 3 instead of 1 or 2. I am a very motivated student, and I have been told that if anyone could do it, it would be me. Any other comments?</p>

<p>Really, if you’re trying to get us to tell you whether you can handle it, you’re not going to get a definitive answer.</p>
<p>If you are smart enough and have enough time, you should be able to handle it without much trouble. If you’re an average student (but your name is FutureIVY, so I’m pretty sure you’re not), you might want to drop one.</p>

<p>Yes, it shows sufficient rigor for a sophomore. That’s not even a question. The question is whether you can get A’s with that schedule.</p>
<p>Can you really take IB classes as a sophomore? Is it just like a pre-IB class? As a diploma candidate who has taken many IB classes, I warn you it might be hard as a sophomore to take that many IB classes, especially the science classes. But if you have the time and commitment, go for it. Getting A’s in those classes is easier said than done.</p>

<p>I’m a sophomore and I have a similar class schedule to the one you described, and basically, if you think you can do it, then you can.</p>
