Sophomore here, what do I need to work on?

Hi everyone,

I'm an international who wants to get into a well-rated university. However, seeing all the other chance threads, I'm kinda worried about whether I'll ever be able to be accepted. What do you guys think I should work on over the next year and a half?

10th grade
Eurasian Male

GPA: 4.00 (UW) 4.17 (W)
Class Rank: School doesn't rank
SAT:
Have not taken yet

AP:
AP Calc AB: 5
AP Japanese: 5
APUSH: Doing currently
AP Calc BC: Doing currently (my school requires AB as a prerequisite for BC; subsequently, half of Calc BC is spent doing multivariable calculus)
AP Computer Science A: Doing currently

ECs:
CTYOnline Linear Algebra
Elementary School Homework Help
Japanese Honor Society
Math Club
Digital Frontiers Technology Club
3D Animation
JV (freshman year) and Varsity Basketball

As a sophomore, work on relaxing a little. You can’t keep up a breakneck pace for seven years.

Try to build up leadership positions in your extracurriculars. If you have too many, colleges will just write you off as a resum

Wow, I completely forgot about this thread! Thanks for the feedback peggysue.

Another thing I’ve been worrying about is that I’m not doing much over the summer. Would this be a setback?

No one can give you any idea based on the info you give. scores are vital as is where you stand in your class even when a school does not rank. What country you’re from and how represented it is also is key information as is if you will need financial aid.
