Sophomore in High School - Suggestions?

Hi,

I'm a sophomore in high school looking at Yale. It has been my dream school since I toured it last year, and I reallyyy want to be a strong applicant when I'm a senior! I'm looking for any suggestions on how to make me stand out or get more involved starting now.

Demographics:
Race: White
Gender: Female
Home State: NJ
Highschool: Public

SAT:
n/a, but received a 1550 in 7th grade

Academics:
Weighted GPA: 4.7/5
(Highest you can get as a freshman taking all honors because of gym and lunch)
Rank: n/a, at least top 5

AP Courses:
Sophomore: US History, Psychology (self study), Statistics (self study)

In-school Activities: Varsity tennis (Freshman & sophomore), Math League, Science League
(Last year I was in student council and debate, but I didn't like either... I should definitely join more clubs, right?)

Awards: 4H Leadership Award (Freshman year)

Volunteerism: 6 years as a member of 4H Ther-Happy Pets, 2 years as president (county club that brings pets to nursing homes); working at father's veterinary office (whole life)

What do you suggest? I really need to do more! I don't play any instruments, by the way.

My current schedule is all honors and 1 AP class (history). It looks like I will get all As this year, but it is only the first quarter.
I'm also taking Honors Research in Molecular Genetics. We work with Rutgers in sequencing the DNA of duckweed and also enter a science fair, where there is a possibility for an award. The Rutgers project guarantees all students will be published, so would I be able to include that on "awards"??

Thanks! (:
