Hey, I'm Lexie, and currently a sophomore in highschool... I've been looking at colleges probably since the 8th grade, it's just who I am. So far I think my best fit is Emerson College in Boston, MA. It has exactly what I'm looking for in a college as far as curriculum, (journalism, creative writing, etc.) campus, distance from home... I'm not too sure exactly what Emerson looks for in applicants, so I'm kind of nervous that I'm getting my hopes up.

My highschool schedule goes a little something like this:

Freshman Year:
English-Honors
Intro to Physics-College Prep
World History-Honors
Geometry-College Prep
French I
also Gym and Chorus..

Sophomore Year:
American Lit and Composition-Honors
US History I-Honors
Algebra II-Honors
French II
Global Issues and Technology
also Gym..

Junior Year (rough idea)
Either AP English or Honors English (still undecided)
Honors History (really don't want to do AP, considering the fact that History is not a strong point of mine)
Pre-Calc Honors (I think?)
French III
Creative Writing Class?
Psychology?

My grades are usually A's and B's with the occasional C (at the end of last year, I was in the top 10 of my class, not so sure about this year, however) I'm working hard to get my grades up for the last two terms of this year....
I've also been going to a performing arts school for 8 years, so 10 years by the time I'm a senior, dunno if that'll look good on an application or not.
I'm a big fan of photography and film as well....

Basically I want to know what my chances are of getting into Emerson (and I'm also very open to suggestions for other schools as well :D If not at Emerson, I'd much rather be somewhere warm)
So leave me some comments and let me know! Thanks
