sophomore meal plan?

Has anyone used the dinextra declining balance plan? I'm living in fairfax next year, but I want to stay on some sort of campus meal plan.. I don't really think I'll be able to cook for myself haha. I'll definitely eat lunch on campus, and I'll probably end up staying in the library long enough that I'll be able to eat dinner on campus too.

I don't want to use any of the freshman meal plans, so I was thinking.. $900-1000 of dinextra for each semester? Is that too little/too much? Thanks!

The good thing about dinex is that you can make deposits, the amount of which is entirely up to you, into your account any time you want on SIO. So you can add, say, $500 first and see how it goes. If it’s not enough, add some more after you use up that $500. Also, unused dinex in the fall semester automatically rolls over to the spring term.

good point. have you used a dinex plan? if so, about how much did you end up using per semester? $500?
