<p>I go to school at a relatively large and well ranked public school in Massachusetts. So far, I've taken the most difficult course load my school offers (1 AP and all honors core classes), though it hasnt really paid off because. My freshman year weighted GPA was around 3.7 and this year it will be somewhere around 4.0-4.1.</p>
<p>My question to you guys (and girls) is whether or not to take Honors Pre Calc next year. Right now I take Honors Algebra 2 and I do pretty well in it. I consider myself to be pretty smart and plan on taking 3 more APs next year. If I know Pre Calc at my school is very difficult, would I be better off taking CP1 for a year and then moving back up? I know I could get an A in CP1 and would probably get a B-/B in honors.</p>
