So I'm going to be a freshman this fall, but my TritonLink profile says that I'm a sophomore. The admissions person said that it's because of my AP and community college credits. So my question is, how does my sophomore standing affect the courses I take at UCSD...aside from the GEs that I can skip over.

Is my question confusing? I hope not. Thanks!

It will help you get an earlier enrollment time when you sign up for classes next quarter. Also, you HAVE to delcare a major when you have junior standing if you haven't done so already.

How many units do you have?

Sweet! Early enrollment!!! And I don't remember how many units I have. I think it was in the 50s.

if you want to take frosh seminars though you need to contact the department so they know you are a first year..theres a link on the frosh seminar page (you can just google it)..in the future youd want to contact them a little bit before you sign up for classes so whatever seminar you want doesnt fill up

just some handy info if you consider frosh seminars

Alright, thank you all for the help!!
