Sophomore starting college list

Hey! Please help me start my college list.

I'm an international (pacific islander) & female

Money is not going to be a problem. (over $4 million annual income)

I'm not sure what I want to major in but probably in business or economics.

If things go as planned, I will probably graduate with about a 3.7 UW GPA.

I haven't taken the real SAT 1 yet but I've taken numerous practice tests where I normally get about 2150~2250. (>750M, >720W >680 CR) It really depends on what kind of CR passages I get..lol..

PSAT score: 220

SAT2: 800 Chem, 770 World, (will be taking Math 2 & USH and expect to get over 750)
AP: Micro Econ 5, Macro Econ 5, Chem 4 (might retake), (will be taking more)

Extracurriculars: nothing spectacular, 2 or 3 extracurriculars
- Internship: Citibank summer internship (going to do it next year too)
- Other summer things: Mu Alpha Theta National Convention

Courseload: No honors courses offered at school...4 AP classes (maximum allowed)

Other: I don't want to go to a big party school (Ex: Penn State) but I don't want to go to a die-hard study school (Ex: UChicago)...Also, I would like to go to a college in either a big/small city.

Thanks! Please recommend schools!!

(Suggestion: don’t disclose a personal detail like that over the Internet, not even when using a screen name.)

You have many options. One to consider is a small liberal arts college, where being an International/Pacific Islander might give you an admissions advantage. Examples:

 • Claremont McKenna College is in the LA area (part of the Claremont Colleges consortium); it is strong in international relations and economics.
• Barnard College is for women only but is adjacent to Columbia University. Students can take classes at Columbia (but it’s not as selective).
