<p>How many AP classes do I need to enter as sophomore status? (UCB/UCLA)</p>

<p>For Berkeley freshman entering with Sophomore Standing don't get any bonus. Entering freshman regardless of standing pick Phase I classes last. However, you need 30 semester units to have Sophmore Standing.</p>

<p>My 29.5 units doesn't cut it, so I still have Freshman standing for Fall, Sophomore for Spring and Junior Standing for Fall 07, kinda of strange actually.</p>

<p>UCLA uses quarter units, and they need 45 quarter units for Sophomore Standing.</p>
