Hi, I am trying to get an opinion on what I should do for my summer of my sophomore year (I'm a sophomore now). I plan on majoring in Bio and minoring in music. I am already spending my first two weeks of break on tour with my youth symphony to China, what should I do for the rest of the summer assuming I get in?
Possibilities
Marine Engineering Internship > I have one now already in UCSD in the same field (Marine Biology), would that be redundant?
Yale Young Global Scholars: Is this useless in terms of knowledge gained/ college resume material?
Studying for test at home: (I got an 2000 on a practice SAT last year, but since they are changing the SAT I'm not sure if it would be necessary to put in loads of time)
Job opportunities: Should I perhaps apply for a job somewhere? If so, what would suit me with an interest in Bio/Music?
Volunteering:
I already volunteer at the hospital and play music for the community. What I am most afraid of is to 1. Be too redundant in my extracurriculars and 2. Seem too ambitious at trying for too many things at once.
