Waaaah here in India we don't get to choose our courses :(

^ really? so what's set for you next year?

We choose a 'stream' - science, commerce, or humanities. You take classes in subjects which come under the title of the stream. I've chosen science, so I'll be taking physics, chem, bio, math, english (language+literature...it's all rolled into one here) and environmental education.

at least you don't need to take courses like foreign lang, technology, or art to graduate. Our school seriously needs to get rid of their "too well-rounded student" philosophy. It's hurting everyone's GPA.

I had to take all that stuff over these past 2 years. Bleh, I'm glad to be done with history, geography and a second language.

I know about the well rounded student ting. We have to have a fine art and i'm in photography which makes me want to kill myself. anyways, next year

Football/Powerlifting
Physics H
English III AP
Pre-Cal H
Statistics AP
Psychology AP/ Sociology
US History H

Yay sophomores! Although, I'm glad that you guys like our grad year- all the upperclassmen where I live always make fun of it, haha. Mostly because the upperclassmen get to throw up "oh-eight" or "oh-nine", and "oh-ten" or "one-ohh" both sound sorta stupid. :P

Anyways, I'm so envious of other school districts! I go to a poor, ghetto high school and we don't even have honors offered until junior year, nor do we have foreign languages in middle school.

I'm going to load up on ap/honors classes next year though, here's my planned schedule:

-APUSH
-AP Calculus AB
-Physics Honors
-Either AP Biology or Physiology Honors
-Symphonic Band
-Advanced Art
-Spanish IV Honors (I'm planning on taking Span III over the summer)
-Engish 11 Honors
-AP Statistics (which I am dreading, but I couldn't think of anything else to take)

My class uses "one-oh". It made the other classes angry, for some reason.
My planned schedule next year:

Honors Pre-Calc (no AP is offered)
Physics (oddly, no honors or AP offered for Physics only)
AP American History
AP English Language and Composition
Honors Spanish III
Religion 11
Philosophy (if offered)
Drivers Ed (one semester)
Meteorology (if Philosophy is not offered, one semester)

I already took the entrance exam for AP American History, and I still have to talk to my English and Math teachers. My Spanish teacher hasn't mentioned anything, but he probably will. And my Chemistry teacher already recommended me for Physics.
