What are my chances? Thanks!

I transferred to LSA from a community college with a 3.5, but I transferred after two years. The average LSA transfer GPA is a 3.6, according to the website. They don’t typically care very much about the ACT for transfer students but perhaps since you’re transferring after just one year they may still give it some thought. If I were you I wouldn’t be too worried about it, though.

My high school stats are very similar to yours (3.9 gpa, 28ACT). My college gpa is 3.7, and my major is (still :() undecided. You’re a bit more involved on campus than I am; my main thing is being floor representative for the hall government. I live in Michigan btw, it’s easier for in-state students to get in. I transferred as a sophomore for winter 2010 though, so they probably put less emphasis on my high school stats than will for you.

Anyways, I see no reason why you shouldn’t get in. Best of luck to you.

My guess is that you may get a later decision than others since they will very likely want to see your first semester grades.
