I'm applying to enter Emory - Gouizueta business school as a sophomore fall 2012.
Do I stand a decent chance? I haven't found a lot of info on Emory's transfer stats online..

HS stats;
gpa 3.47
act: 28
good ecs varsity sports, community service

College: (large midwestern state school, go bucks!)
gpa: 3.68
involved in three clubs, two academic, one recreational
should have good rec from econ professor and decent rec from math t.a.

Decent chance… just looking through Emory transfers who posted here, the HS stats are about average. So are the college stats… But there have been a couple rejects with a similar ACT score and college GPA.

I hope you write good essays (especially ‘why Emory?’) otherwise its about 50/50. Still do apply though.

You cannot enter the Goizueta business school until you’ve reached junior standing. This is good, in your case, because “Our program consists of 600 juniors and seniors, 99 percent of whom are continuing students from Emory College and Oxford Colleges.”

In other words, you need to apply to Emory College of Arts and Science.

Your stats look good. You should definitely mind what Mikethechimp and aigiqinf said about Goizueta. My fiancee hopes to go on to Goizueta, and we are both applying to Emory for fall '12 as transfers. (We would enter as Sophomores with about 40 credits)
