Hello all,
I’m currently a freshman at a Jesuit university in New York with a veeeeeery extensive core program (which greatly restricts the number of courses I can take for my major). I was rejected from Cornell as a first-year student, and really haven’t gotten over it. I’m pursuing a BS in CompSci and in a 3-2 Program with Columbia, but would love to transfer into CALS InfoSci school.
College GPA: 4.0
High School GPA: 3.2
SAT: 1820
ACT: 27
College courses:
Calculus 1
Arabic
Faith & Critical Reasoning
Understanding Historical Change: Medieval
English Comp 2
planning on taking
Computer Science 1 or 2
Either Physics or Chem
Discrete Math
College EC’s: Resident Hall Association Senator, Computer Science Society member, play for the school’s lacrosse team.
Any advice on what I could do to stand out a bit more as a freshman would help a ton! Thanks everyone!
