Sophomore transfer in expanded housing?

I'm transferring, I got into the residence halls for now but expanded housing.

Is expanded housing alright, or will it be more difficult to meet people, and get the same college experience?

No problem. As space opens up when some students change their college plans you will get moved into a regular dorm room. All the same priveleges as those already in their permanent room. Some are in floor dens, others in the Ag school short course dorms for up to several weeks. You will be a part of house activities, eat in the same dining areas, use the same bathrooms, have the same furnishings… The downside is not having a permanent place or roommate. No one gets the floor den to use until students get moved out. They will help you move your stuff when a room is available. This is Res Halls way of accomodating as many students as possible- there are always some who quit or don’t show up so instead of having empty rooms they can fill them. Also nicer than some colleges that make doubles into triples for the entire school year.
