so my mom has a class with one of the guys in admissions, and he looked on my status of my application and he said my decision is heading towards no, also they starting to look at spring admissions. But he said that he wanted me to transfer as a sophomore, and "prove myself" because i had some Cs in my ap classes. He wants me to go to a UC or a Community College and get a high gpa. So I would either go to UC Riverside or to Pasadena City College

Should I do that? or just wait for the other colleges I have left and if I get accepted to a good school, go there instead?

depends on how much you want to go to USC. my son transferred after one year at a 4 year state college. he's happy with his decision. USC was really
his only choice and he made it happen. If you would be happy elsewhere, then you should go there if you get a good package. You could always apply as a junior transfer if it turned out to not be what you want.

I'm def. going to try to transfer.
It's the only school I want to go to.
I just hope I don't get too comfortable at the college I'm going to now.
I tend to do that...

lol i had a friend tell me to remain focused on my goal (of transferring to USC) so i will try to remain focused... hopefully the party scene of UCSB wont deter me from my goal and i think i have nickel on my side ready to put me in my proper position... =T

yea lets stay strong in our other colleges. Getting rejected from usc...pretty much all of our top choices in this thread is REALLY rough. Let's use this frustration, anger, and sadness and use that energy to motivate us throughout our two years at our other colleges. We'll transfer to USC guys, no doubt. Fight On. See you guys in two years! or one...or three? not sure Grad school maybe? I dunno we'll see
