I was at an interview last time and they asked for my sat score! I was surprised. So should I put this SAT on my resume? Is it good enough?
Sophomore with 3.8 gpa in engineering, should I put a 1380 SAT M+CR on resume? Is this good enough?>
What kind of employer asked for your SAT score?
I was thinking the same thing. In general I wouldn’t recommend anything from HS on your resume. Tell people if they ask. I doubt they ever will again.
Don’t put your SAT score on your resume. Sends quite a strange message to any potential employers. I never asked anyone for their SAT scores and have never heard of anyone else asking for it. Simply not relevant.
@ucbalumnus Natural gas company asked for it.I didn’t have it on my resume but they specifically asked for it, including my writing! I’m only in my third semester but still…
Don’t put it on your resume, be prepared to answer if asked.
Weird. Asking for SAT scores from applicants with significant college records seems mostly associated with consulting and finance companies.
I was surprised that DS was asked about SAT during a job interview. It happens. But no need to put it on the resume.
I put it on resume I just used for job application. Should I rescind resume and resend??? I’m guessing not. Is 1380 considered good for an engineer btw? I have ADHD and I didn’t puss out and ask for extra time or pills so I don’t do as good on standardized tests as I do in say diff equations
No biggie. That’s a great SAT score. But next time you update the resume consider using the space for college info.
