Hello everyone,

I am currently applying to various universities (as many of you are), including some difficult schools such as MIT, Brown, UChicago, and Northwestern.

The thing is, my sophomore year grades have been abysmal for these high-caliber institutions, around a 3.0 overall including a C; however, junior year and senior year have have cleaned up my act to nearly straight As (or A-s). This is because the summer after my freshman year I transferred to a highly competitive magnet school and the transition was especially hard because I was previously living overseas.

I was wondering how these institutions would consider this transition.

Thank you for your time.

p.s. And yes, I have do have several safety schools...
