Hi there,

I currently have around a 3.4 GPA Unweighted. ACT score hopefully 30-32.
I'm only a sophomore now, but in a scenario where my GPA reaches 3.55, how likely will this make or break my chances to be accepted as a Pre-Law major and Poly-Sci Minor?
Thanks again.
Also, I'm top 66% in my school, but there are 1,000+ students in my grade

Basically no chance if your rank is top 66%. Top 20-30% is where you need to be, at least.

Sorry, my bad. I meant to say top 33%, above the other 66%.

Just as an FYI, there is actually no Pre-Law major at U of I. You can indicate that you are interested in pursuing law school after graduation (and there are plenty of resources for pre-law students), but you will have to pick an actual major.

That being said, you definitely have a good chance at getting accepted even with a 3.4 and an even better chance with a 3.66.
