Here is mine:
(Level 1 is the highest other than AP)

Biology- Level 1
Geometry- Level 1
Algebra II- level 1
Orchestra
World Literature II- Level 1
AP US History
Spanish 3 Advanced

Here is my sons courses:

Honors English (full year)
Honors Alg 2
Honors PreCal
Honors Chemistry
Honors Civics
French 2
Advanced Chorus

16 more days 'til I get to know my complete schedule. I can't wait that much for goodness' sake!
Here's what I asked though:

Fall:
AP Chemistry 1/2
AP Lang/APUSH 1/2
Phys. Cond.
Writ. Comp/Health -- required
Spring:
AP Chemistry 2/2
Pre-Calc -- no honors available
AP Lang/APUSH 2/2
AP Comp Sci (probably will change this with art elective)

My schedule will probably be a completely different thing and change many times during year :)

How are all of you taking AP's sophmore year?

I just finished soph and I took:

US History Honors
Graphic design II
Algebra 2
Biology Honors
English II Honors
Latin III

Jr year I'm taking:
AP. US History
English III Honors
Latin IV Honors
AP. Chem
AP. Bio
Psychology (fall) AP. Economics (spring)
Pre-Calc.

and thats after I finish college chem. this summer.

Only course my son could have taken as AP would be Bio since he took Bio in 10th. All sciences, except physics,u need to take reg/honors before AP. This goes for Chemistry and History as well - US/World/Civics. Once he is a Junior he doesnt need to take reg/honors Eng - he can go right into AP.

For Junior year - he wants to take:

AP Eng 3
AB and BC Calculus
Honors US History then AP US History
French 3
Then he is trying to take AP Chem (year long) (so he dont have to take it in his Senior year) and then take AP Enviornmental in his senior year.

oops i meant since he took Honors Bio in 9th, he could have taken AP Bio in 10th

How are all of you taking AP's sophmore year?
[/quote]
I'm completely unsure about APUSH/Lang. Office said priority is given to seniors so chances I will go there are very slim :(

The classes I am supposed to have are:
PIB English 3/4
PIB Algebra 2
PIB American History
PIB Chemistry
PIB Spanish 2
PIB French 1
Orchestra
Tennis

I get my actual schedule in about two weeks. I am hoping they haven't messed it up. I have already had to fix my class list 3 times. That was just fixing it so I had a list of classes I wanted not with the problem of fitting it into a schedule. My school is horrible about that.

As a sophomore I had...
Gym
IB Chem/IB Bio
IB Spanish 2/3
IB Math (idk what one)
Choir
IB Classic Literature
IB Humanities

Next Year:
IB Chem
IB Math
IB Spanish 3/4
IB Literature
IB American History
For Electives:
IB Psychology
IB Philosophy
AP Physics

It's gonna be FUNNN :]

How many years do you attend high school? AFAIR, IB is only for junior/senior, how did you manage do get that in sophomore year? :)

Well at my school theres 9th and 10th grade Pre IB.. and its only on a 4.5 scale (11/12 is on a 5.0). We have a project after 10th that lasts 10 months where we get to do anything we want and I made a satellite model (along with research and 10 pages of an explanation), passed with 1 point away from a perfect score, got into IB so I consider freshmen & sophomore year to have been IB when its really Pre-IB or whatever. Make sense?

mr.chipset what happened to your language?

Huh? hehehe

I think he is asking about a foreign language.

Heres my schedule:

Honors English II
Spanish II (I think it may be honors/college prep)
Health 10
PE 10
Equine Science w/ Labs
AP European History
Honors Biology
Honors Algebra II

Equine Science is the study of horses.

im going to be a freshman and im taking AP world history

how is that relevant?

I'm pretty sure its not... but I think that someone asked how people could take APs as sophomores, so he said that he was taking one as a freshman? I don't know?

That's not offered in my school and that's an AP Colleges think are easy. i think it is easy as well. AP Statistics is easy as well. I could have taken that freshman year ,but it's a useless AP for me and presnts no challenge.

My schedule -

Enr. Pre-Cal
Enr. English 10
Enr. Physical Science
Enr. World History
Orchestra B (B is supossed to better than A, I think. Not sure).
AP Satistics
Spanish 3
Prhotography 1 (maybe 2 too? ), but only if it's offered.

What is ENR? never heard of something like that.
