Sophomoritis?

And I didn't know it existed.

Anyone else feel like they're going through the motions with their last semester (or soon to be last quarter?) of CCC?

Absolutely. I'm so over community college, it's not even funny. I think what I'll miss most, however, are the excellent counselors and their oh so informative opinions...

Good god, I can't wait to transfer.

Yes x 1000000000000000000.

I can't wait to be free.

get me OUT of here! 2 months and 19 days until I am out of this mental prison.

Yes, I definitely have a case of sophmoritis (although, I was calling it transferitis!).

It was rather crippling at first, but after not studying for a test for the first time I can ever remember and then getting an 87, I got ****ed and now snapped back out of it a little.

But still...I'm ready to transfer!

Yea, same thing happened to me with an essay --got a B and went ape **** thereafter.

you guys are sooo lucky. actually i am lucky too i got a B on my calc 3 test and there fore IAM NOT DROPPING IT!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA

community colleges are looked down upon cuz typically its an easy way to get to a UC school and once their it is a lot tougher than the easy cc classes

The logic and presentation of the post is genius, but yet refreshingly non sequitur.

hahahaha. well put, Ektaylor. I couldn't of said it better myself.

i procrastinate on my online class so bad that if it was a puppy and my assignments were to feed it, it'd be on the verge of death. I'd feed it before it died though, don't get me wrong, but it would be starving. yay for sophomoritis.

I did that to all of my neopets too in junior high.

it's actually transferities

I just call it laziness.

Obdeboondocks, I'm with you. I've been waiting until the last minute to do my assignments. Scared myself a couple of times too! So hard to focus right now, ahhhh!

Haha I got it worse than all of you guys. I'm basically done with all prereqs(except one which i'm completing this quarter). So I have nothing but extremely easy GE courses.

Hey heres some food for thought. Say you slacked off and got poor gpas for the spring term( say the min 3.0). Futher say for whatever reason( subtle error on apps maybe?) you got rejected from your first, second and third choice. And you decide to reapply the following fall. How are you going to explain your drastic dip in GPA?

Obdeboondocks: that was a funny comment. I'm the same way right now. I'm sure I will get all A's in the end, but I am waiting till the last minute for everything.

student14x,

I don't know the exact answer to that but I would recommend you don't try and find out. Just keep your grades up.

I have read that for incoming freshmen, admissions is now being more heavy handed and less forgiving to those with bad grades their senior year than in the past.

Maybe you like to live dangerously, but I'd put those thoughts out of my head. :)

For me, I can't afford to slack off. These engineering courses require so much input.

This is off topic, but have you guys heard about some of the rejections for freshman admissions? Seems like they are being pretty tough this year.
