Soroities and Fraternities

Hey
I was just wondering if anyone could sound off on how important greek life is at JHU. Did you rush? Is the social life centered around frats? What do kind of reputations do certain houses have? ect...
Thanks!

For the past few years I have seen the % of students in sororities and fraternities at Hopkins fluctuate between 18 - 22%. Basically, if you want to go greek it is an option ... greek life does not rule social life at Hopkins nor is it non-existent.

Here are some helpful threads from the JHU Forums:

And here is the official Greek Life web page:

thanks! I had never considered joining a sorority, but a lot of people have said that it is a big part of Hopkins. It is great to have a more official opinion.
