Sororities/Fraternities

<p>I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about the greek life at Pepperdine. I had never before been interested in being in a sorority because of their reputations for drinking and partying in general. At the admitted students reception, however, they said that Pepp's greek life is totally different. I realize Pepp is a dry campus, but is that totally true for the sororities? The main reason that I am interested is because the sororities at Pepp seem to have a big involvement in the school and they say that's where you meet some of your best friends. Any feedback or input? My parents aren't too thrilled about the idea, but I'm trying to convince them that it's not normal sorority life. Thanks in advance for any info!
