I'm interested in applying and possibly attending Cornell, but I hear that the Greek is huge. If I were to attend, I probably wouldn't be in a sorority. I'm a very social person and I love partying; would it matter if I were in a sorority or not? I don't want to end up getting stuck being a loner or anything. Let me know(:

If you are a very social person, you obviously wont be a loner whether you are in one or not

you dont need to be in a sorority to have a social life (70% of the campus is not in greek life). but i think that going through the recruitment process, whether you end up joining or not, is such a positive experience

a few of my female friends are absolutely opposed to going greek, yet they always go out every weekend. you dont need to go greek to have a social life
