<p>how do you sororities decide which girls they want to see again during round 2? Because at each house I visited today and yesterday I only spoke to 3-4 girls at each house. Is that too little? Based on that, how can 50 sisters decide who to move on to round two when I only spoke to 3-4 of them? Please explain Spanks or anyone else. Thanks so much!</p>

<p>I wasn't asking about how the voting process is done. I'm asking if I talked to too few amount of girls at each house. Should I talk to more next time?</p>
<p>i heard basically that they speak about the girls that had come right before and like pull the cards out of the basket and say okay who talked to so and so what did you think, yes or no.</p>

<p>it was fine today, there was snow on the ground but it was sunny and kind of warm out. todays gonna be a ***** going from 8:30am-8:00pm</p>

<p>are there any architecture students that rush for sororities? i know that both are time consuming, and all it takes is good time management, but is it really possible?</p>
<p>why not? its not like there is any class during rush and after that it is easy for girls.</p>
<p>So what did people think after rush? Were all the sororities the same or were some better than others?</p>

<p>STD supposedly has a really hott pledge class but i haven't seen them to verify. But I can say that Tri-Delt, AXO, and Theta have pretty good looking pledge classes overall. I say overall to account for some random girls in each pledge class.</p>
<p>i'm a freshman, but i didn't rush this year... i wasn't really able to come back in time for rush and a lot of my friends weren't doing it... but i secretly really want to be in a sorority. now i regret not be able to rush, and i still really want to. is it ok for me to rush next year as a sophomore? or will my chances of getting into the house i want not be as good? thanks!</p>

<p>im a freshmen at cornell and just rushed. Honestly you should definately rush next year as a sophmore, there are a lot of girls who rush as sophmores. Also, it won't hurt your chances at all and it might even make rushing easier because you might be able to make friends with some of the girls in sororities this semester. Rushing sucks, but pledging is so much fun and definately worth it!!!</p>
<p>As far as sterotypes on campus, princess did a really accurate job of explaining all the chapters. I thought I could just add my (hopefully) unbiased impressions from rushing... </p>
<p>During rush week, all the rushees were crazy about theta... and its easy to see why... the older girls i talked to were all super nice, pretty and fun and their house is beautiful. They had the funniest skit as well. Since all the rushees loved theta so much, theta picked the best of the best. theta's pledge class is hot! and full of super sweet, down-to-earth girls. </p>
<p>along with theta, a lot of girls were really impressed with delta gamma, alpha phi, and kappa. all the girls in dg that i talked to were super cute and big sweethearts. Lots of pretty blondes with a great sense of style. they had an awesome house and a hilarious skit, kind of showed off the house's random sense of humor. dg pledge class has a lot less blondes than usual but is really diverse with a lot of beautiful girls. </p>
<p>alpha phi is an awesome house as well. all the girls i talked to were really cute. the girls in alpha phi seem much more conservative and "girly-girl" than some of the girls in the other houses. Gorgeous house and really cute, sweet, nice girls, great new pledge class. </p>
<p>dappa is right up there with dg, aphi and theta, but the girls are definately a lot wilder. The first round of rush all the rushees were warning eachother about the girls in kappa because they would dance around really promiscuously on top of tables and stools at the beginning of rounds. Lots of girls who play sports and party hard. Their house isn't as nice and their skit wasn't as funny, but great girls. Their pledge class has a lot of girls who love to party hard and are really pretty! </p>
<p>phi psi gave really great impressions as well- it's a really diverse, sweet, group of girls with a ton to offer. Known to be a more "sporty" house. all the girls i talked to were really down-to-earth and extremely nice. Really pretty house and funny skit. The first round it seemed like everyone was crazy about theta and the second round, everyone seemed crazy about phi psi. the new pledges are awesome!</p>
<p>sdt is a jewish house with a hotttt new pledge class. sdt had one of the best skits and the girls were fun and easy to talk to. lots of gorgeous jappy girls. aephi is a second tier jewish house, great house, girls, and new pledge class.</p>
<p>tridelt, achio and kappa delta all kinda blended together for me. pretty girls and really nice to talk with, just nothing really stuck out as great from my impression. </p>
<p>azd- the girls i talked with seemed awkward and uncomfortable, and one of the older sisters that i talked with had really tacky makeup and lipstick on her teeth the entire time. it was a little painful. </p>
<p>aopi- gorgeous gorgeous house but scary scary looking girls. </p>
<p>I have a lot of friends who ended up pledging different houses and have told me all about their experiences so far, so I hope I was able to give a good honest account of impressions during rush week and the new pledge classes. I was able to expand more in the first half of my description because most people I know ended up in those houses, so sorry if my impressions got skimpy or incorrect by the end of the list. Honestly, there are so many awesome new pledge girls, and no one house is any better than another. Everyone usually ends up where they should be and all my friends and i who've rushed and are pledging right now are so happy and having so much fun!!! greek life is an awesome part of life at cornell and highly recommended. if you have any questions about rushing, feel free to ask!</p>
<p>JasonSK, one of my best friends is pledging tri-delt and she's told me about all her events. so i'm guessing you're in either chi phi or zbt?</p>
<p>theta, kappa, dg and alpha phi were awesome. i would have been happy in any of those.</p>
