Sorority Advice, please!

<p>I am rushing in the fall to be in a sorority. My school does it by formal recruitment so the sororities rate you and you rate them back. Then by the end of the week you get a bid. I rushed last year and got a bid from my least favorite sorority and I couldn't get along with the girls. So I'm going to do it this year and I already know which one I want to get into and I want this so badly that it could ruin my college semester if I don't get in this one. </p>

<p>I'm just asking to some of the girls/guys who are in Greek life to give me some advice on how to make a sorority like you a lot to give you a bid. I find myself very likable and nice but I know how picky some of the sororities are. I can't tell you how bad I want to get in this one. I would be so happy.</p>

<p>You sound like you are setting yourself up for disappointment. I’d begin to accept that it might not work out for you before the semester starts in the event it doesn’t go the way you hope.</p>

<p>No offense, but if they didn’t offer you a bid last time, what makes you think you’ll get one this time? Have you kept up any sort of a relationship with the girls in the house you want? I forget all the NPC rules, but can they give you tips about why you didn’t get in before and whether you have any shot now?</p>
