Hey,
Is anyone thinking about rushing this fall? I'm not totally sure if I want to do it, but being in a sorority sounds like fun. Anyone know which sororities have awesome girls in them?

My good friend's sister just pledged to Chi Omega this fall. She's pretty cool. You should check it out

How expensive is it? Ball park figures for freshmen year??

I had a friend's daughter in Chi Omega...the girls seemed very nice.

Sorority rush is very organized and structured; that is, you have to go to every house, so you should be able to tell which house fits you the best. Everyone has their own opinions on the houses with the coolest girls. Being greek is definitely a GREAT way to meet people and get involved.

Also look into some of the specialty sororities...if you an engineer, Phi Sigma Rho is a great!

Greek Life at the University of Michigan

According to this site the average cost is $1000 the first year.

thanks, momtn!
