I really want to go and visit but I dont want to take time off school to travel if I have no chance. Also, I dont want to fall in love with the campus if i have no hope so
I have spoken to the admissions counsellor in my region who seemed really nice about my green card and what duke requires..would it help me to call her again and speak to her a little more?
Yes, I know its a long shot. I'm looking for helpful advice not "you're crazy to have applied"</p>

<p>Thanks in advance guys!!</p>

<p>wow you have pretty high english scores on your sats for being and international student for so long. i do suggest, however, that you raise your test scores a little more if you can. id say you have a decent shot. it doesnt hurt to just apply.</p>
