<p>Chances for UVA?
Out of state/white/male, great combination I know =P
GPA UW: 3.6
GPA W: 4.0</p>

<p>All honors courses except for german throughout my 4 high school years. AP English last year and AP English II, AP Calc and AP Economics this year </p>

<p>SAT: CR 680 Math 750 Writing 740
2170/2400 1430/1600
Competitive highschool.
Dont know my rank... around top 15% I'd guess?</p>

<p>3 varsity sports, swimming 4 years, tennis 3 years, cross country 2 years
Iron Raider Award for doing a varsity sport every season in one year</p>

<p>Community service - soup kitchen, went to guatemala and alaska with habitat for humanity to help build houses.</p>

<p>I've played Piano since i was in 3rd grade, wrote my common app essay on piano, Earned honorable mention in a competition. </p>

<p>SAT II's: they're crap lol, Literature: 600, Math 2 630</p>

<p>Clover, you have some very nice stats, and you have clearly challenged yourself, good EC’s. But gaining admission to UVA could still be tough for you, but not impossible. </p>

<p>In your case, I’m concerned that your rank isn’t a little more competitive, your GPA is little low in the context of applying as an OOS student to UVA. Of course, you are aware that OOS admission is extremely competitive, so even though you have some very nice stats, it can become a c-r-a-p shoot.</p>

<p>Be sure to have your safeties and reaches in mind, and go ahead, reach for the stars. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Good luck to you. Remember, this is just my take on things. I don’t have access to your essays and recs. and stuff.</p>
