<p>I know chance threads are really annoying and that none of you guys can know for sure because none of you are admins -- BUT I just submitted all my apps for RD and am currently having a slight freak out.</p>

<p>White Female</p>

<p>GPA: 3.97 UW, 4:79 (of 5) W
SAT I: 2270 - 730 CR, 760 Math, 780 Writing
SAT IIs: 800 Chem 800 Bio M 800 Math II</p>

<p>ECs:
board member and speaker for local charity (800+ hrs)
other volunteer work (400ish hrs)
athletics for 2 years, then stopped b/c of injury</p>

<p>Interests:
Biochem, Molecular Bio... possibly comp sci. as well.</p>

<p>Schools I'm applying to:
Wesleyan, Middlebury, Williams, Tufts, U of Rochester, Wellesley, Mt Holyoke, Smith</p>

<p>You’re in. Why didnt you apply to Ivies? They would be a good match for you.</p>

<p>from the list, it seems the OP wanted a smaller, more intimate environment than the Ivies can provide. just because they exist doesn’t mean you have to apply to them… it’s all about fit, and the Ivies aren’t necessarily the eight best school, correct?</p>

<p>Right, my first choice would be MIT, but I didnt know I needed 3 SAT IIs… But why dont try it? Even I will try one or two Ivies (even though I have a very little chance to get there). O/c I’m not applying to Harvard/Yale, because they are just weird.</p>
