<p>so has being accepted drastically changed anyones lives?!! I know it has for me! I woke up this morning and my mom was beside my bed and she was screaming that i got in! :) She knows its a big deal lol</p>
<p>Not yet, but depending on my last two schools, it will! Choate is still my top choice and I've spent ages thinking about it and wanting to get in, but the Exeter acceptances was so awesome!</p>
<p>I have to say... YES IT DOES. I mean, being a part of this boarding school thing is being a part of something important, having traditions that have been around for centuries. Also, it means I am beginning to travel down a path that would lead to a successful future. wow. I still CANNOT believe I got into Exeter.</p>
<p>Here's a cool way to think of getting in, especially with financial aid!</p>
<p>You're in at HADES. In a lot of people's minds, you've been accepted to one of the TOP, most PRESTIGIOUS educational institutes in the entire NATION!
And just a week ago they told people that admissions was no longer need blind and financial aid was insanely more competitive. And yet you still got in! Feel good, guys. :D</p>
<p>I know i was shocked for about ten minutes i was just laying in my bed trying to fall back asleep because i thought it was a dream. But then i was like, OMG IT REALLY HAPPENED! haha my mom was really surprised. She was like, "This is like getting into Harvard, except you couldnt with the grades you have right now" :D haha</p>
<p>Lol HADES ...I forgot about that acronym. But ya..it looks like a good number of us are "Hadies" lol. And then everyone else who got into great boarding schools also.</p>
<p>And yes...it sounds dramatic, but this totally changes my life. I was starting to slack at my current school and probably would have continued. But when I go to somewhere that I'm not one of the smartest it will definitely help me step up.</p>
