Sorry Chances for Penn State Please

I am an International Student currently doing IB
HL Math - 5
HL Econs - 5
HL Biology - 6

SL Chem - 5
SL English - 6
SL Spanish Ab -4

I full expect to increase my grades because i will be having a huge break where i will be able to study. If you take IB you will know that there are many reports and paper to write during the course leaving very little time of pure studying.

SAT Reading - 690
SAT Math - 660
SAT Writing - 630

I have many EC but
Model United Nations
Drama
Peer Mentoring
are the three that i put most effort into.In fact these three EC have interested me in public policy with a concentration in education.

As for leadership
i am a core team member in peer mentoring
Head of Drama
and special projects secretary in my school senior council

What’s your gpa? If it’s around a 3.3-3.5, you have a decent chance. If it’s a 3.6+, then i’d say you’re in. Apply early and I think you will get in! Good Luck!

Well i do the IB so we don’t have GPA and i’m not to sure of the conversion.
Thanks for the reply

If you have mostly Bs and As, i’d say you’re on the safe side.

Hi dramaandpolitics, I was in a dual program w/IB as well. I think you are very good w/ your grade. In fact, if you score 5 or above on your HL classes you can apply and get the course credits on them (unless you want to take them again). From above, you can get a total of 9 credits (3 from each course)… you can complete your undergraduate program quicker or allow you time to go on an internship program to work a term and still graduate in yrs.

I meant graduate in 4 yrs.

Thanks this help a lot
