SAT: 2300 (1500 out of 1600), national merit semifinalist
SAT II: bio 730, math 2 770
GPA 4.1ish unweighted, my school doesn't rank but I'm cum laude
1 AP sophomore year (only one offered at school at that time)
3 APS junior year
3 APS this year
extensive independent research, won a prestigious award at my school
extracurriculars have community service and leadership positions in and out of school and also show a strong commitment to a unique interest that my research reinforces.
have taken 2 college courses over the summer. Spent my summers interning, volunteering, and doing research (all activities that are consistent with the interest I am emphasizing).
I'm expecting very strong recs and my essays look like they are shaping up to be pretty good.</p>
