Anyone self-study it before?
What books do you recommend?

Haven’t self-studied, but I suggest PR. DO NOT get CliffsAP, it is the most horrible one I have found. Kaplan is ok, but not the best.

I agree: princeton review is very good

i found princeton and 5 stepts to a 5 (the best)to be good. kaplan was also pretty good

Yes, 5 steps to a 5 is also a good one. A friend of mine was using that.

I self-studied for both Micro and Macro. 5 steps to a 5 is really good for econ. I initially had princeton review, but I wasn’t satisfied, so I got 5 steps, and it was much better at explaining than PR. I would recommend using both though, because there is info in PR that is not in 5 steps (info that I just ignored, and it ended up on the AP test). I got a 5 on both Micro and Macro.

Barrons worked wonders for me. But Princeton Review is also a good choice, more concise.

Although it’s not your traditional AP prep book series, Economics for Dummies really helped me understand the fundamentals of Micro. I would suggest reading that first, then reviewing further with either PR or 5 Steps to a 5.
